The Back Pain Institute of Orlando is a division of Gutman Pain/Accident Center located on Colonial Drive near I-4. E. Michael Gutman, M.D., the namesake and Medical Director of the practice, has been practicing medicine (Forensic(Legal) Neuro-Psychiatry) in Orlando for nearly forty years. The practice now specializes in the treatment and management of severe and chronic pain. 

The Back Pain Institute of Orlando specializes in the use of the revolutionary VAX-D technology along with traditional, and complementary alternative medicines. Other treatment modalities include acupuncture, massage therapy, nutritional supplements, chiropractic, and others. Dr. Gutman's remarkable reputation in the treatment of chronic pain is based on a multi-faceted approach in which some or all options may be used in varying degrees.
